The staff is always friendly and helpful

Since 1884, King and Godfree has prided itself on providing Melburnians with the finest range of liquor and deli items. Although it might be known as an Italian store, we always find budget to premium Spanish wines, beers and sparkling cava.

The delicatessen food section offers imported Spanish cheese and jamon serrano of a couple of different varieties, among a wide selection of Italian products (antipasto, meats and cold cuts). They offer regular tastings, so feel free to pay them a visit and ask for it: The staff is always friendly and helpful.

The most common Spanish wine they regularly sell is Torres. Over 150 imported and boutique Australian beers, we can normally find Estrella, Moritz or Rosita. They have also extended the cava (Catalan premium sparkling wine) offer from Freixenet to Segura Viudas, which is handy and is priced affordable.
